What positions does HT Training prepare students for?
The HT training programs prepare participants for a variety of employment positions in the hospitality and custodial industry. These positions include; housekeeper, room/chamber attendant, guestroom cleaner, house manager, guest services agent, night auditor, concierge, valet, receptionist, banquet server, host, floor manager, barista, light duty cleaner, commercial cleaner, janitor, custodian, caretaker, heavy duty cleaner.
Students FAQ
What are the program requirements?
Resident of Ontario, 18 years or older, and legally allowed to work in Ontario.
How is the classroom training delivered?
The hospitality training program is delivered virtually through the Google Classroom platform. The custodial training program is delivered 50% virtually. There is custodial hands-on practical training that is delivered in a classroom and a building is used to practice cleaning skills and use cleaning machines.
What supplies do I need for virtual classes?
HT will provide all the supplies for the training
What supplies do I need for in-person classes?
HT will provide the supplies required to succeed in the program including written training material and a tablet if required.
Does HT Training supply students with learning materials?
All written training materials are supplied to the students.
Tablet and internet connection devices available if required.
What do students receive after graduating from a program?
Upon successfully completing the program, graduates receive emerit (hospitality) or CMI (custodial) certification, industry certifications, First Aid & CPR/AED certifications.
Above all, students come out with confidence, experience, and skills to get THE job as opposed to A job.
How long does it take to complete a course?
Each training program is 6 weeks long. After graduation, job placement takes place over 3 weeks.
What supplies do I need for class?
HT will supply students with the teaching material and resources needed to succeed in both our in-person and virtual classes.
